Tomáš SVATON's Home page

Tomáš is an engineer at INRIA Grenoble Rhône-Alpes. He makes a part of the Morpheo team and he is developping tools for the visual reconstruction of different phases in soft tissues. He is following approach of merging the surface information within the X-ray projections of the studied objects. His mid-term contributions is mainly to the CaMoPi project. The principal focus is the reconstruction of the movement of the human shod foot.

Tomáš obtained his PhD in applied mathematics from the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen in Czech Republic with an emphasis on numerical methods in bio-mechanics. Mainly he worked on his thesis "Mixed methods in problems of finite elasticity with large distortions" at Sapiezna University of Rome in Italy. The application field was aimed to further studies of the soft tissues of human left ventricle.

Tomáš was working also at CEA Saclay on the developement of simulation tools for the low-frequency electromagnetic applications.

Since 2010, Tomáš is the member of the Union of Czech Mathematicians and Physicists  (JCMF).
